Dear Mr. Obama
Each year, thousands of young fans would die for a chance to see famous star, Kanye West. The public just cannot seem to get enough of him. At the red carpet, young girls scream out their windpipes just to touch his jacket. The pop singer struts the stage like a god, swearing that his biggest dream is to see himself performing live on stage. Kanye’s model figure, pristine attitude, and lack of ego sets a fantastic example for the young population of America, making him the perfect candidate for the 2020 presidential elections.
I think it is agreed that Kanye is the epitome of flawless behavior. His humble attitude calms even the most vicious of political opponents. After losing an award for Best Video at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Copenhagen, Kanye furiously takes the stage, incredulously explaining that his video cost a million dollars to make, and that if he doesn’t win, then the show will lose all its popularity. His humble show of anger portrays him as a tranquil man, who can take loss and defeat. When Kanye called himself the next Steve Jobs, the example of fashion and culture in the 21st century, and worth billions of dollars, he shows his ability to sway the people with his smooth words. It is these characteristics that make him fit to be president in 2020.
Although many parents believe that West is a bad example for their children, this is shockingly mistaken. Kanye’s incredible success with his albums and his wife, Kim Kardashian, sets a great standard for the children of the 21st century. Not only did he drop out of college as a young adult, but he also got addicted to drugs, claiming that all he wanted was more clothes. By missing fundamental classes, such as math and humanities, students can have more free-time and sleep more than they do during current ages. Following Kanye’s example is therefore beneficial for students, and should be enforced in all schools.
I can assure that Kanye shall be a great president. “I think it’s just dope to help kids with money and school” the rapper said, “I like simple ideas”. Clearly, he only wants the best for the country. In addition, West thinks nothing of himself and only wants to help those in need. After calling himself “the greatest living rock star on the planet”, there is no doubt where his priorities lie: with the people. “I would be so happy if Kanye becomes president!” says Heera Rajavel, a juvenile 8th grader at Pine Lake Middle School, “West is the coolest.” With no political views to argue, he knows exactly what he wants and how to get it.
I have not the smallest interest in changing the vote of the public. I only want to allow people to see the bright side of what could happen. Kanye west is the perfect president to be elected in 2020 with his small ego and the great example he sets for children. Having him be a part of United States politics will have a beneficial effect on our country’s economic status, pleasing the fan-girls of the 21st century and parents everywhere.
